Job Title: Gastroenterology Physician

Start Date: 06/01/2026

Hourly Pay Rate: $443.43

Job Description:

We are seeking a qualified Gastroenterology Physician to join our team on an ongoing contract basis. The ideal candidate will have experience in outpatient procedures, inpatient rounding, consults, and emergency department support within a hospital setting.

Responsibilities:

Conduct outpatient procedures and inpatient assessments
Provide consults for patients aged 18 and over
Support hospital and ED coverage as scheduled
Perform inpatient procedures as needed
Work independently with minimal supervision

Schedule:

Outpatient procedures at Ephrata Endo Center: 7:00 am - 3:30 pm on specific dates (June 1, 30; July 1, 6, 10, 20, 21, 22, 27, 28; August 3, 5, 24, 31; September 1, 2, 21, 22; October 2)
Inpatient rounding, ED support, and outpatient procedures: August 28 at 5 pm through September 4 at 5 pm; November 20 at 5 pm through November 30 at 7 am (Kashyap); December 4 at 5 pm through December 14 at 7 am; December 28 at 7 am through December 31 at 5 pm
Shift: Day shifts, 5 days a week, 8 hours per day (07:00 - 15:30)

Requirements:

Board Certification or Eligibility in Gastroenterology
PA license or IMLC License of Qualifying
DEA registration
Licensed GI certification preferred
Ability to work independently in a hospital setting
Experience with EPIC EMR
