Job Description:

We are seeking a highly qualified Gastroenterology Physician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing outpatient procedures, inpatient rounding, consults, and inpatient procedures within our facility. This role requires working independently in a hospital setting with a patient population aged 18 and above. The selected candidate will support a hospital without Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) and will be expected to handle general GI practice responsibilities.


Schedule:

• Ephrata Endo Center - 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
  • June 1, 30
  • July 1, 6, 10, 20, 21, 22, 27, 28
  • August 3, 5, 24, 31
  • September 1, 2, 21, 22
• Inpatient Rounding / ED Support / Call / Outpatient & Inpatient Procedures:
  • August PM to September PM
  • November PM to November AM
  • December PM to December AM
  • December AM to December PM

Work Details:

• Support Staff: No APP in hospital
• Patients per day: approximately 10-12 inpatients, 2-4 consults, 6 outpatient procedures, 0-1 add-on procedure per day
• Department: Outpatient procedures, rounding, consults, inpatient procedures
• EMR: EPIC
• Hospital Bed Size: 130
• Skills Required: Board Certified or Eligible in Gastroenterology; licensed in PA; DEA required; preferred licensed GI certification
• Minimum Experience: Ability to work independently in hospital settings
• Credentialing Timeframe: Temps available with a clean file

Shift:

• Day shift, 5 days a week, 8 hours per day (07:00 - 15:30)

Hourly Pay Rate: $443.43
