Machinist
Our client, a leader in aerospace manufacturing is seeking a Machinist to join their team. As a Machinist, you will be part of the Manufacturing Department supporting the production of precision aerospace components. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, strong technical skills, and a proactive mindset which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Machinist
Location: Irvine, CA
Pay Range: $34
Shift: 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM - Monday to Friday (training will be on first shift)
What's the Job?
- Perform operations such as drilling, tapping, reaming, and boring on various workpieces, ensuring dimensional accuracy.
- Create setups and operate CNC machines according to specific programs and work instructions using DNC links.
- Work from engineering drawings and specifications, utilizing a variety of precision measuring instruments.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings with an understanding of geometric tolerances.
- Inspect finished work and complete all necessary inspection paperwork, maintaining quality standards.
What's Needed?
- High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of five (5) years of previous work experience as a Machinist.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future.
- Experience with Lathe operations, particularly 2-3 axis (Mazak experience preferred).
- Ability to read and interpret drawings, schematics, and use various measuring tools.
