As a Security Officer Patrol Access Coordinator in Chantilly, VA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. Join Allied Universal as a Patrol Officer where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support access activity throughout the location. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and report relevant details according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including interior areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter checkpoints, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, observe on-site conditions, and document security-related concerns, hazards, and/or policy violations for follow-up.
• Support daily operations by communicating with site contacts, following post instructions, and assisting with security-related requests as appropriate for the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
