Avante at Ocala is seeking Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to perform direct care duties under the supervision of licensed nursing personnel and to assist in maintaining a positive physical, social and psychological environment for the residents.

Qualifications:

• Must be a certified nursing assistant in good standing and meet all applicable federal and state certification requirements or training to satisfactory complete the requirements to become a certified nursing assistant in accordance with state and federal guidelines.
• Must be 18 years of age
• Completion of high school or GED equivalent or otherwise show the ability to read and write and follow oral commands in English
• Previous experience or completion of an appropriate training course
• Positive attitude toward elderly
• Must be eligible for clearance through abuse registry and Department of Law enforcement.

Background screening requirement:

This position requires background screening through the Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse.
