The Network Support Engineer, also known as a Mission Control Engineer, plays a crucial role within Fastly's Mission Control Program (MCP), which is integral to ensuring operational excellence on the Fastly Edge Cloud Platform. This position focuses on maintaining service quality by translating monitoring data into actionable insights, thereby preventing potential issues for strategic accounts and partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a steward of service quality and monitor operational metrics.
- Collaborate with incident commanders during platform incidents to prioritize mitigation strategies.
- Engage with engineering teams to provide proactive troubleshooting and maintenance coordination.
- Conduct contributing factor analysis to enhance platform resilience.
- Ensure operational excellence across global 24/7 operations.

- Experience in network engineering or support.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
