Job Title: Radiologic Technologist - Radiographer
Location: Bronx, NY
Type: Contract | 13 Weeks
Shift & Schedule: 12:00 AM – 8:00 AM | 5 Days Per Week | 40 Hours Per Week | Weekends and Holidays Required

Pay Rate:
Local Pay: $2400.00 - $2500.00 Weekly
Traveler Pay: $2800.00 - $3000.00 Weekly

Position Overview:

Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking a Radiologic Technologist - Radiographer for an exciting Travel or Local job in Bronx, NY.

Responsibilities

• Perform standard and specialized general radiography procedures safely and efficiently.

• Produce high-quality diagnostic images to support accurate patient diagnosis.

• Prepare and position patients appropriately for imaging procedures.

• Explain imaging procedures clearly to patients to ensure comfort and cooperation.

• Adhere to ALARA principles and all radiation safety guidelines.

• Protect patients, staff, and self from unnecessary radiation exposure.

• Operate diagnostic imaging equipment safely and effectively.

• Monitor equipment performance and report technical issues promptly.

• Maintain accurate patient imaging records within the hospital’s digital systems.

• Ensure compliance with facility policies, state regulations, and quality standards.

Required Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited training program for Radiologic Technologists.

• Current certification and registration as a Radiologic Technologist issued by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).

• Valid, active New York State Radiologic Technologist license.

• Minimum 1 year of dedicated experience as a General Radiographer.

• Ability to work the overnight shift (12:00 AM – 8:00 AM).

• Availability for mandatory weekend and holiday rotations.

Preferred Qualifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
