General Production Worker

Immediately Hiring!Seeking to hire General Production Worker located in the Philadelphia, PA area for a full time job opportunity. The General Production Workers will be responsible for prepping orders, which involves checking labels, codes, counting, applying stickers, loading in correct directions, and ensuring pallets are clean. You will be lifting bags of cocoa beans, weighing up to 50lbs, on and off the production lines throughout a 12-hour shift. In the butter melting area, lifting up to 35lbs may be required. This is a long term opportunity, offering weekly pay, and opportunity of overtime depending on the demand of the workload at that time.ResponsibilitiesPrepping orders by checking labels, codes, and applying stickers.Loading materials in correct directions and ensuring pallets are clean.Lifting bags of cocoa beans weighing up to 50lbs.Operating in the butter melting area with lifting requirements of up to 35lbs.Utilizing new technology in the production area to lift heavy materials onto the line.Dumping ingredients into machines using technology for the dumping station.Job Type & LocationThis is a contract to hire position based out of Philadelphia, PA.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
