Job Summary:

We are seeking a Process Equipment Engineer to support a large-scale greenfield biopharmaceutical manufacturing facility. This owner-side role will provide technical oversight of process equipment, piping, containment, and mechanical systems from design and construction through commissioning, qualification, startup, and operational readiness.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide technical oversight for process equipment, piping, containment, and mechanical systems.

Review equipment/system designs, P&IDs, specifications, and vendor documentation.

Evaluate equipment for maintainability, cleanability, reliability, safety, and containment.

Support equipment design reviews, vendor coordination, field walkdowns, installation, and system readiness.

Partner with Process Engineering, Construction, CQV, Automation, Operations, and Quality teams.

Support FAT/SAT, commissioning, qualification, startup, and operational readiness activities.

Troubleshoot equipment and mechanical integration issues during project execution.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Biochemical Engineering, or related discipline.

5+ years of process equipment/manufacturing engineering experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, life sciences, or related process industries.

Hands-on experience with process equipment, piping systems, and mechanical utilities.

Knowledge of GMP manufacturing environments.

Ability to read and review PFDs, P&IDs, equipment specifications, and vendor documentation.

Experience supporting equipment installation, commissioning, qualification, and startup.
