Our Dental Assistants assist in the examination and treatment of patients under the direction of a dentist. Signing Bonus Includes a $750 Signing Bonus! A Day in the Life of a Dental Assistant Greet and prepare dental patients Assist dentists during procedures and maintain instruments and supplies Perform basic and some moderately complex dental procedures Assisting in handing instruments and materials to dentists and keep patients’ mouths dry and clear by using suction or other devices Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment Prepare trays of instruments for dental procedures and instruct patients on postoperative and general oral health care Taking and developing x-rays and preparing dental compounds Taking pouring and trimming dental impressions and seating temporary restorations Minimum Requirements High school diploma or GED Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross Preferred Experience and Skills Experience as a Dental Assistant, minimum of one (1) year Proficiency with EMR system Bilingual English/Spanish language skills are a definite plus Key Success Factors The ability to problem solve Organizational skills Team player personality Time management Benefits LSCC offers a competitive benefits package, including: Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance; LSCC paid Life insurance; LSCC paid Short-Term and Long-Term Disability insurance; Paid Time Off; 403b Employee Retirement Plan #J-18808-Ljbffr Circle Internet Financial Limited
