Key duties include:Personal Care: Assist residents with daily living activities (ADLs), including bathing, oral hygiene, grooming, skin care, and dressing. Assist with restroom use, bedside commodes, and routine incontinence care.Mobility Assistance: Help residents with walking, transferring, turning, positioning, and prescribed physical exercises.Meal Preparation: Help plan, prepare, and serve nutritious meals and prescribed diets, including kitchen cleanup.Medication Reminders: Assist clients with self-administering medications and prompt them via electronic reminder systems.Homemaking & Light Housekeeping: Maintain a clean environment through bed-making, light laundry, and occasional grocery shopping.Documentation: Observe, report, and accurately document resident status and the care provided.Job Requirements:Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent.License: Must possess a valid Pennsylvania Driver's License in good standing (free of major traffic violations).Transportation: Must have reliable, independent transportation (essential for assignments that require travel between campuses on the same day).Skills: Strong communication, excellent judgment, and a passion for senior care.Why Choose Redstone?Serving Westmoreland County since 1980, Redstone is a trusted, faith-based, non-profit organization dedicated to treating each resident with respect and dignity.
