WPA Medicine Staffing is seeking BC/BE Emergency Medicine Physicians for ongoing locum tenens opportunities across several community hospital sites in Pennsylvania.

These are well-supported emergency departments with 24/7 access to ED Medical Directors and strong specialty backup. All pediatric admissions are transferred to tertiary children s hospitals for higher-level care.

• 12-hour shifts
• Community hospital settings
• No trauma designation
• Ongoing coverage needs
• APP support at all locations
• 24/7 access to ED leadership support
• Pediatric admissions transferred to higher-level pediatric centers
• All STEMI cases routed to Westmoreland location

• Monday Friday:
  • 30 MD hours/day
  • 37 APP hours/day
• Saturday/Sunday:
  • 24 MD hours/day
  • 37 APP hours/day

• Approximately 100 patients/day
• Lower weekend volumes

• 24-hour Anesthesia coverage
• 24-hour Intensivist coverage
• Cardiology (STEMI receiving center)
• Adult Behavioral Health
• GI
• Interventional Radiology
• General Surgery
• Hematology/Oncology
• Infectious Disease
• Orthopedics
• Urology
• Pulmonology
• Endocrinology
• OB
• Vascular Surgery (when available)
• Transfer support to tertiary centers as needed

• BC/BE Emergency Medicine
• Active Pennsylvania license preferred
• ACLS, ATLS, and PALS preferred
• Clean background and malpractice history preferred
