Senior Technical ConsultantNew York, New York, United StatesPosition DescriptionThe Senior Technical Consultant is a SyteLine developer with 5 plus years of experience who provides billable services to customers in support of their SyteLine system. Depending on your skill set, a Technical Consultant may also provide other development or technical services, which may be unrelated to SyteLine. The Senior Technical Consultant requires more than 15 years of experience in customizing Syteline ERP, INFOR CSI, and connecting to the cloud with.net, AWS, or similar. Some coding may be needed. More than 10 years of experience in Syteline or INFOR development and customization is highly preferred.ResponsibilitiesThe Senior Technical Consultant is primarily responsible for delivering services to customers through a variety of activities including, but not limited to, requirements gathering, analysis, formulating solutions to business issues, documenting specifications, estimating projects, development, testing, debugging, and project delivery to the customer. Determining customer requirements is critical.Required Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesMicrosoft.NET technologies, including T-SQL, VB.Net, and SQL Server Reporting ServicesManufacturing ExperienceA degree in a technical disciplineEnterprise Resource Planning system basic knowledgePrevious consulting experience is a plusExcellent verbal and written communication skillsSolid analytical and problem-solving skillsFlexibility in dealing with simultaneous projectsStrong customer service attitudeStrong self-motivation but not afraid to ask for helpHold yourself and your work to high standardsAbility to work with minimal supervision and meet deadlinesHigh energy level; ability to persistEducation and ExperienceA bachelor's degree in a technical disciplineAbility to travel, as required, in either the most efficient or the most cost-effective mode, as determined by Management. Reasons for travel may include are not limited to, onsite customer work, internal meetings, customer meetings, and sales support. Typical travel for the Senior Technical Role is 25% with variations due to business demands.Must possess a valid drivers license.
