Precision CNC Manufacturing Specialist

• Program CNC mills and lathes using G‑code, both on‑machine and offline.
• Translate blueprints, specifications, and engineering drawings into end‑to‑end job plans.
• Own complete setups: tooling selection, workholding design/selection, and program validation.
• Operate production equipment: manage offsets, change tools, and monitor throughput.

Quality & compliance

• Perform first article inspections.
• Support FPQP and PPAP Level 3 activities (with assistance) to meet customer and industry requirements.
• Create and maintain inspection sheets and measurement methods.
• Measure with precision instruments: calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, height gauges, etc.

Shop standards

• Train machine operators on setup and operation best practices.
• Execute manual machining (mills, lathes, band saws) when needed.
• Deburr components using appropriate tools and techniques.
• Maintain equipment and keep machines/work areas clean and production‑ready.

Collaboration & delivery

• Partner with internal teams, customers, and suppliers to meet quality, delivery, and efficiency targets.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma required; Journeyman Certification in precision machining preferred.
• Experience: 7+ years machining required; 3+ years of hands‑on G‑code programming required.
• Knowledge: Strong understanding of CNC mill/lathe operations.
• Software: CAD/CAM software preferred.
