Supply Chain Operations Coordinator (Bilingual English/Mandarin)
COSCO SHIPPING (North America) Inc.
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive professional to join our Supply Chain Operations Control Tower team.
In this role, you will serve as a central point of coordination for operational escalations, partnering cross-functionally with dispatch, sales, pricing, and customers to ensure timely issue resolution and continuity of service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for operational escalations related to supply chain services
- Coordinate across dispatch, sales, pricing teams, and customers to resolve service issues efficiently
- Proactively manage and resolve operational challenges, including:
- Capacity constraints
- Service disruptions
- Appointment and delivery delays
- Rate discrepancies and billing concerns
- Partner closely with the Pricing team to evaluate alternatives and support solution development
- Ensure clear, timely, and professional communication with all stakeholders
- Monitor escalations through to resolution, maintaining accurate documentation and tracking
- Identify recurring issues and recommend process improvements to enhance operational efficiency
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field
- Fluency in English and Mandarin Chinese (written and verbal) is required
- 3–5 years of experience in logistics, drayage, trucking, or supply chain operations
- Strong understanding of drayage operations, carrier networks, and port/rail processes
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
