Location: Douglasville, GA 
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM 
Pay Rate: $19.25 per hour

Job Overview

We are currently hiring experienced Equipment Operators to join a growing warehouse operation in Douglasville. This position focuses on operating stand-up order pickers/cherry pickers to move, pick, and place products throughout a warehouse racking system.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience operating powered warehouse equipment and be comfortable working at elevated heights while following all required safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate stand-up order picker/cherry picker equipment safely and efficiently
• Pick and place products within warehouse racking systems
• Work at elevated heights, approximately 20 feet or more above the warehouse floor
• Wear and use required fall-protection and safety harness equipment
• Maneuver equipment with product carts through warehouse aisles and racking areas
• Follow wire-guided equipment systems as required
• Assist with inventory movement, product picking, rack labeling, and material handling tasks
• Maintain a safe and productive work environment

Required Experience

Previous experience operating powered warehouse equipment is required

Preferred experience includes:

• Stand-up Order Picker / Cherry Picker is a MUST
• Reach Truck
• Raymond Equipment
• Crown Equipment
• Similar warehouse lift equipment

Qualifications

• Comfortable working at elevated heights (20+ feet)
• Willing to wear fall-protection equipment while elevated
• Ability to safely operate equipment with a product cart attached
• Flexibility to assist with general warehouse duties as needed
• Strong attention to safety procedures
• Reliable transportation

Preferred Candidates

Our strongest candidates will have:

• Recent cherry picker or reach truck experience
• Experience with Raymond or Crown equipment
• Strong warehouse safety awareness
• Ability to adapt to changing warehouse tasks
• Experience working in high-rack warehouse environments
