Human Resources Generalist

Valley Health System of Ridgewood NJ is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to serve as a key front-line resource for people connecting with the Human Resources department. This onsite role in Paramus, NJ supports recruitment coordination and helps ensure new hires and other HR activity moves forward smoothly. Role overview In this position, you will act as the first point of contact for incoming employees, applicants, and visitors who reach out to Human Resources. You will also coordinate recruitment efforts that support the on-boarding process for staff hires across the health system and other Human Resources areas, as needed. Requirements High School diploma required; Associate’s degree preferred . Minimum 1 year of office type support/administrative experience required. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint . Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing. Ability to interact effectively with customers to meet their needs. Ability to work independently with minimal direct supervision. Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment. Ability to handle frequent interruptions and adapt to changes in workload and work schedule. Ability to set priorities, make effective decisions, and respond quickly to customer needs. Good organizational skills required.
