Job Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient assessments, including physical examinations and comprehensive reviews of medical histories
• Assist in evaluating and diagnosing surgical conditions by interpreting imaging studies and lab results
• Work closely with surgeons to develop and implement tailored surgical treatment plans
• Provide essential intraoperative support, managing operating room preparations, ensuring proper patient positioning, and passing surgical instruments during procedures
• Offer outstanding pre- and post-operative care, including administering medications, wound care, discharge planning, and patient education

Education Requirements

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Completion of clinical rotations with a surgical emphasis is strongly preferred

Certification Requirements

• Current and unrestricted PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certification essential
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant is required
