Position Summary

The Dental Front Office Coordinator/Treatment Coordinator is responsible for creating an outstanding patient experience from the first phone call through treatment completion. This individual will assist with scheduling, patient communication, insurance verification, financial arrangements, and administrative duties while supporting the clinical team.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and provide exceptional customer service.
• Answer incoming phone calls and respond to text messages professionally.
• Schedule new patient consultations and orthodontic appointments.
• Verify dental insurance benefits and explain coverage to patients.
• Present treatment plans and discuss financial options.
• Collect payments and maintain accurate financial records.
• Coordinate patient recall and follow-up appointments.
• Maintain patient charts and electronic records.
• Assist with marketing initiatives, including Google reviews and social media requests.
• Keep the reception area clean, organized, and professional.
• Work closely with doctors and clinical staff to ensure smooth daily operations.

Qualifications

• Previous dental or orthodontic office experience preferred (training available for the right candidate).
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Professional appearance and positive attitude.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Comfortable using computers and dental practice software.
• Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus but not required.

Schedule

• Full-time or Part-time
