Mechanical Assembler
Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking a Mechanical Assembler to join their team. As a Mechanical Assembler, you will be part of the manufacturing department supporting the production team. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.
Location: Lawrenceville, GA
Pay Range: $19 - $22/hourly
Shift: 6:30 AM - 2:30 PM
What's the Job?
- Build precision sheet metal assemblies, chassis, cabinets, enclosures, and electromechanical products following detailed instructions and engineering drawings.
- Fit, align, and secure components to meet strict product specifications and quality standards.
- Utilize blueprints, assembly drawings, work instructions, and bills of material to complete tasks accurately.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment to ensure high-quality assembly.
- Perform product inspections to verify proper fit, alignment, and workmanship, supporting quality assurance efforts.
What's Needed?
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 2 years of mechanical assembly experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience using hand tools, power tools, and measuring devices.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, assembly drawings, and manufacturing instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality in a fast-paced setting.
