divh2Scheduler/h2pLocation: Allen, TX Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: M-F (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM)/ph3Scheduler Responsibilities:/h3ulliScheduling, rescheduling, and canceling patient appointments as required./liliAnswering patients questions regarding basic medical tests and procedures./liliProviding instructions to patients to ensure that they are prepared for examinations and procedures./liliConfirming patient appointments./liliCourteously receiving incoming telephone calls and taking messages as needed./liliExplaining financial requirements and obligations to patients and entering payments into the practice management system./liliScheduling referral appointments and follow-ups./liliVerifying insurance details and informing patients of un-covered fees./liliFiling documents and organizing supplies./li/ulh3Scheduler Requirements:/h3ulliHigh school diploma or GED./liliPost high school education is advantageous./liliProven experience working in a medical office./liliWorking knowledge of medical terminology and medical insurance plans./liliProficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)./liliThe ability to type and file accurately./liliExcellent communication and organizational skills./liliGood telephone etiquette./li/ulpJob Description: Texas Health Heart and Vascular Specialists #18797 1105 Central Expressway N Ste 120 Allen, TX 75013-6106 Required Medical Clinic experience.
