Nora Gardner LLC and its uniform division, Living Uniforms, are seeking a Business Development & Office Manager to lead uniform sales development while keeping the office running smoothly. This is a hybrid, client-facing role based in New York City, ideal for someone who is self-motivated, personable, and eager to grow a sales pipeline from the ground up. The right candidate brings a proven track record of strong interpersonal skills and sales execution, and is comfortable balancing new business development with day-to-day office and account management. Key Responsibilities

\n

\n

Business Development & Sales

\n

\n
• Lead uniform sales development for Living Uniforms, identifying and pursuing new client relationships across hospitality, restaurant, aviation, and wholesale sectors
\n
• Manage the full sales cycle: prospecting, pitching, negotiating, and closing
\n
• Build and maintain a strong, active pipeline; consistently meet or exceed sales targets
\n
• Travel to meet clients, attend industry events, and present in person as needed
\n
• Create simple, polished pitch decks and product catalogues tailored to individual clients
\n
• Serve as the primary client-facing point of contact, nurturing long-term relationships and repeat business
\n

\n

Office Management

\n

\n
• Oversee day-to-day office operations, keeping workflows organized and efficient
\n
• Support order processing, inventory tracking, and basic account/financial recordkeeping
\n
• Coordinate between sales, production, and clients to ensure smooth order fulfillment
\n
• Handle administrative tasks that keep the business running independently and reliably
\n

Qualifications

\n

\n
• 5-10 years of relevant work experience in hospitality, restaurants, aviation, or wholesale sales
\n
• Proven track record of strong interpersonal skills and sales execution
\n
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; confident and polished in front of clients
\n
• Strong mathematical skills, comfortable with pricing, margins, and order calculations
\n
• Interest and ability in creating simple pitch decks and catalogues for clients
\n
• Highly self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
\n
• Eager, proactive, and comfortable operating in a small, fast-moving team
\n
• Based in or able to work from New York City on a hybrid schedule
\n
• Willing and able to travel for client meetings and industry events
\n
• Available for immediate start

Compensation & Benefits

\n

\n
• Base salary: $65,000-$80,000, based on qualifications, plus uncapped commission on sales
\n
• Total compensation structured as part salary, part commission, rewarding strong sales performance
\n
