Job Description The Receiving Clerk is responsible for performing various tasks related to product packing and shipping in accordance with established procedures and/or commercial standards. This role involves receiving, verifying, and stocking incoming equipment, materials, and supplies, as well as preparing shipments. The ideal candidate will be computer literate and demonstrate acute attention to detail. The following reflects management’s definition of essential functions for this job but does not restrict the tasks that may be assigned. Management may assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time due to reasonable accommodation or other reasons: Receiving: Process all inbound and outbound shipments, including but not limited to sorting, logging, delivering, packing, auditing, and shipping. Audit each goods receipt prior to packing to ensure that goods match the order. Ensure that proper equipment, manuals, and accessories are received with the correct order and process. Documentation and Inventory Management: Prepare shipping and receiving documentation; maintain orderly files for all documentation. Participate in scheduling daily transportation. Process all receiving transactions and paperwork accurately. Assist in maintaining material inventory levels and conduct periodic audits. Customer Service and Safety: Respond to requests for tracing missing shipments from suppliers. Assist in maintaining safety and housekeeping standards in the receiving area. Adhere to all safety regulations and wear appropriate safety PPE. Administrative Tasks: Perform required administrative tasks; prepare all required reports and correspondence. Use computer systems to log and track shipments and inventory. Other Responsibilities: Perform other duties as assigned by the manager. Continuously seek ways to improve processes and efficiency. Qualifications Experience One to two years of related experience or equivalent. Skills and Abilities: Familiarity with material handling practices and methods. Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Ability to manage priorities and workflow efficiently. Proficient in using Microsoft Outlook and Word; able to type 40 words per minute. Strong interpersonal skills. Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions. Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English. Ability to work with minimal supervision. Commitment to excellence and high standards. Versatility, flexibility, and enthusiasm to work within constantly changing priorities.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Lift and move a minimum of 50 pounds without assistance. Wear appropriate safety PPE as required.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Majority of the work time is spent in a manufacturing environment where temperatures can be warm or cool, depending upon the season, and noise levels can be moderate to high. Additional Information The hourly range for the position is $20.00 - $23.00/hour. The individual pay is determined based on several factors, including, but not limited to, work experience and job knowledge, complexity of the role, job location, etc. The Recruiter can share more details about the specific salary range during the interview process.
