Restaurant Sous Chef
The Post Oak Hotel is seeking a Restaurant Sous Chef to join the only double Forbes Five-Star Hotel in Texas. The Restaurant Sous Chef will be responsible for overseeing the culinary operation, leading Cooks to deliver high-quality, locally inspired dining experiences across all meal services and venues.
Responsibilities include leading culinary operation, developing and innovating menus, managing food safety and sanitation, overseeing kitchen staffing and scheduling, controlling food and labor costs, training and developing culinary team members, managing inventory and purchasing, coordinating kitchen operations, and supporting leadership and administrative responsibilities.
Qualifications include 5+ years of experience working in a high-volume kitchen, strong culinary expertise, strong communication skills, ability to work efficiently under pressure, attention to detail, previous fine dining restaurant experience, and ability to work flexible schedules.
