Interim Finance Transformation Consultant

A great UHY client is seeking an Interim Finance Transformation Consultant . The ideal candidate will have Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central expertise, process improvement experience, and strong operations/internal controls knowledge. The Interim Finance Transformation Consultant role is a client contract position. Interim Finance Transformation Consultant Responsibilities Evaluate and improve operational processes impacted by the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central ERP implementation. Assess current business workflows and identify process gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement. Review and strengthen internal controls across Operations and Warehouse functions. Assess the current Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central configuration and recommend enhancements to improve operational efficiency. Partner with Operations, Warehouse, and executive leadership to align system functionality with business requirements. Develop, document, and implement standardized workflows, policies, and best practices. Provide hands-on support to Operations and Warehouse teams during post-implementation stabilization. Troubleshoot ERP-related operational issues and recommend practical, sustainable solutions. Assist with change management initiatives to improve user adoption and overall system utilization. Create and maintain process documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and training materials. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize business processes and improve operational performance. Monitor process improvements and recommend ongoing enhancements to maximize the value of the ERP system. InterIm Finance Transformation Consultant Requirements Proven experience in Operations, Supply Chain, Warehouse Management, or Finance Transformation. Strong background in process improvement, operational excellence, and business process redesign. Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, including system configuration, optimization, and post-go-live support. Experience designing, implementing, and strengthening internal controls. Demonstrated ability to evaluate business processes and translate operational needs into ERP system improvements. Experience supporting ERP implementations, post-go-live stabilization, or finance transformation initiatives. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to work across multiple functional areas. Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Experience in manufacturing, distribution, warehouse, or supply chain environments is preferred. Experience with change management, user training, and ERP adoption initiatives is a plus. Proven ability to quickly identify operational challenges, implement practical solutions, and improve organizational efficiency.
