The Farmers Insurance Sales Manager will support the agency's operations while gaining valuable hands-on experience in the insurance field. This mid-level position is designed for individuals looking to start a career in insurance, providing training and mentorship to develop skills in client management, sales, and policy administration. After successfully completing the 9-12 month training program, there is potential for agency ownership.

Responsibilities

• Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, referrals, and cold calling to build a robust client portfolio.
• Client Relationship Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their insurance needs and providing tailored solutions.
• Policy Recommendations: Analyze clients insurance requirements and recommend appropriate coverage options, including life, health, property, and casualty insurance.
• Sales Process Management: Manage the sales pipeline from prospecting to closing, ensuring a seamless experience for clients.
• Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and changes in regulations to provide informed advice to provide informed advice to clients.
• Collaboration: Work closely with underwriters and other team members to ensure effective policy implementation and client satisfaction.
• Customer Service: Address client inquiries and resolve issues promptly to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.

• Training and Development: Participate in training sessions to learn about various insurance products, sales techniques, and industry regulations.

Requirements

• Valid insurance producer license in Property and Casualty in the state of Georgia required
• Valid insurance Life, Health, and Accident in the state of Georgia preferred (licensing assistance available)
• 1-2 years Experience in insurance sales or a related field preferred, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Education: Bachelor degree preferred; High school diploma or an equivalent required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Excellent negotiation and closing abilities.
