This role is essential in maintaining a clean, safe, and professional environment.Schedule: Monday, Wednesday and Friday 6:00 PM – 10:00 PM (4 hours per day)Position OverviewThe Custodian is responsible for maintaining the overall cleanliness and sanitation of the building assigned to them. This role includes both team cleaning and individual responsibilities, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and to company standards. Custodians will follow daily assignments provided by their supervisor and must maintain consistent communication to ensure all duties are completed effectively.Essential ResponsibilitiesFollow all job duties assigned by the supervisorPerform both team-based and independent cleaning tasksCross-train in multiple areas within the facilityMaintain clear and consistent communication with the supervisorProvide excellent customer service and maintain a professional attitudeReport broken equipment, safety concerns, or malfunctioning stations promptlyGeneral Cleaning DutiesCustodians may be asked to perform the following tasks at any time:Sweep and mop floorsVacuum carpetsDust surfacesClean and sanitize restroomsTake out trash and replace linersDisinfect high-touch points and surfacesClean glass doors and windowsClean and polish drinking fountainsMaintain kitchens and break roomsSweep and mop stairwellsWipe down stairwell handrailsClean and polish elevatorsKeep custodial closets clean, organized, and fully stockedNote: A building-specific schedule will be provided; however, all team members are expected to be flexible and able to perform any of the duties listed above as needed.Position Requirements - Qualifications & SkillsSelf-motivated and reliablePositive attitude and strong work ethicStrong attention to detailGood organizational and time management skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamStrong communication skills with supervisors and team membersWillingness to learn and properly operate cleaning equipment and machineryCommitment to maintaining a clean and safe environmentWhat We OfferConsistent part-time schedule (20 hours per week)Stable work environmentOpportunity to gain experience and grow within the companySupportive team and managementIf you are reliable, detail-oriented, and take pride in maintaining clean and safe spaces, we encourage you to apply and become part of our team.
