Material CoordinatorTransportation and LogisticsNorfolk, VASUMMARY: WR is seeking a highly motivated Material Coordinator to provide Government site support for material management, equipment tracking, inventory control, and logistics operations. Position responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:Support Government site logistics activities, including:Shipping and receiving of materials and equipmentMaterial movement and distributionEquipment tracking, accountability, and status reportingInternational shipping coordination and Customs clearance processingInventory records management and reconciliationProcess and maintain DD-1149 documentation and related shipping records.Coordinate material deliveries and ensure timely movement of equipment and supplies.Maintain accurate inventory databases and support inventory audits.Assist with material receipt inspections and verification of shipment documentation.Coordinate with Government and contractor personnel to support logistics and material management requirements.Candidates must possess the following knowledge, skills, and experience:High School Diploma or GED equivalent.Seven (7)+ years of full-time professional experience in procurement, logistics, inventory management, or material coordination ORFive (5) years of experience with Associates degree in lieu of experience.Experience with inventory databases and DD-1149 generation and processing.Experience tracking Government-furnished equipment and materials.Knowledge of shipping, receiving, warehousing, and inventory control processes.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Preferred experience and skills:Experience supporting U.S. Navy or DoD logistics operations.Familiarity with international shipping requirements and Customs documentation.Experience utilizing Government logistics and inventory management systems.The selected candidate will be required to pass a pre-employment third-party background check which may include verification of any of the following: Employment history; Education and/or certifications; Criminal history; Driving Records; Other records or information related to the candidate's suitability for the position.Position Salary Range: $50,000 - $75,000. The listed salary range represents the typical range for this position. WR bases the offered salary on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual candidate qualifications, such as education, experience, knowledge, and skills, scope and responsibilities of the position, and market and business considerations.
