Direct Counsel is seeking an experienced Litigation Legal Assistant with 3–5+ years of civil litigation experience to support attorneys in a fast-paced legal environment.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare, format, proofread, and finalize pleadings, discovery, and correspondence

• File and serve documents in state and federal courts

• Manage case files, calendars, deadlines, and attorney schedules

• Coordinate with clients, attorneys, opposing counsel, court personnel, and vendors

• Assist with discovery, mail processing, travel arrangements, and expense reports

Qualifications:

• 3–5+ years of civil litigation experience

• Strong knowledge of litigation procedures and court filing requirements

• Excellent organizational, communication, and proofreading skills

• Ability to prioritize multiple deadlines and work independently

• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Adobe

• Experience with iManage/FileSite is a plus
