What You’ll Do:

• Schedule surgical procedures, coordinate calendars for surgeons and operating facilities, and manage electronic medical record (EMR) documentation.
• Serve as the main point of contact, guiding patients through prep instructions, post-op needs, and scheduling questions with warmth and clarity.
• Verify coverage and partner with our authorization team to keep timelines on track.· Proactively address scheduling conflicts, line up details, and keep daily operations running smoothly.  

What You Bring:

• 2+ years of surgical scheduling experience is required (orthopaedics highly preferred).
• Strong grasp of orthopaedic terminology, surgical prep workflows, and insurance/authorizations (Worker's Comp & Motor Vehicle Accidents (MVA) experience is a plus).
• High accuracy in electronic medical record (EMR) data entry, billing/coding familiarity, and proficiency in MS Office.
• Calm under pressure, exceptional organizational skills, and an empathetic communication style.

Compensation & Benefits:

OrthoNJ, LLC is required by New Jersey law to disclose the compensation range for this position. The hiring range for this role is $22.00-$27.00 per hour. Compensation is determined based on several factors, including but not limited to the candidate’s qualifications, relevant experience, and geographic location. Eligible full-time employees are offered a comprehensive benefits package, which may include paid time off, medical, dental, vision, and a retirement plan.
