Life doesn’t always follow a fixed schedule. That’s why we created the Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced position: a flexible, dependable option for individuals looking to supplement their income, gain hands-on experience, or work toward a full-time career with the industry leader.

As a Security Officer Access Part Time Driver in Union City, TN , this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $16.75 / Hour

DayTimeSun11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, visitor check-in protocols, badge verification, and/or security-related response activities as appropriate for the location.
• Monitor entry and exit points for employees, visitors, contractors, and/or delivery personnel, documenting arrivals and departures and reporting irregular activity to site contacts.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following post orders and escalation procedures for the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, perimeter, parking areas, and access points, noting conditions that could impact operations and reporting concerns.
• Help to deter unauthorized access by verifying credentials, controlling gate and lobby traffic, and supporting screening procedures for people, vehicles, and/or materials entering or leaving the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Be 21+ years of age.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience are preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
