**Location: Salt Lake City, UT 84044 (Onsite)Duration: 5+ Months (Potential Temp-to-Hire)Schedule: Monday – Friday | 9:45 AM – 6:15 PM | No Weekends

**Job Summary:

We are seeking a Pharmacist I to join a growing pharmacy team in Salt Lake City, UT. This role offers a structured onboarding experience with an initial focus on final prescription verification and pharmacist oversight, providing an easy transition into the position. **Key Responsibilities:

**

• Perform final verification of prescription orders to ensure accuracy and patient safety.

• Review prescriber orders and identify potential therapeutic concerns, drug interactions, or medication-related issues.

• Verify and oversee the work completed by pharmacy technicians.

• Ensure compliance with all state and federal pharmacy laws, regulations, and company policies.

• Provide drug information and medication counseling to patients and healthcare providers when needed.

• Maintain accurate pharmacy documentation and support quality assurance initiatives.

• Collaborate with pharmacy staff to ensure efficient workflow and timely prescription processing.

**Required Qualifications:

**

• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy.

• Active Utah Pharmacist License in good standing (required).

• 0–2 years of pharmacist experience; new graduates are encouraged to apply.

• Strong attention to detail with excellent clinical judgment and communication skills.

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced pharmacy environment while maintaining accuracy and compliance.
