Make a positive impact in a PreK-8 educational setting by supporting student growth and success as a skilled School Psychologist. This full-time contract opportunity is based in the Glendale Heights area and runs from August 2026 through late May 2027. You'll collaborate with educators, families, and students, providing direct and consultative psychological services. The district values adaptability—the specific grade level and caseload will be finalized closer to placement, so candidates confident working with PreK through eighth grade are encouraged to apply. Bilingual Spanish speakers are especially encouraged, as the district serves a diverse student population. There is also openness to some hybrid work arrangements, providing additional flexibility.

Key qualifications:

• Valid PEL with School Psychologist endorsement required
• Comfortable with a wide age range (PreK–grade 8)
• Experience in school-based psychological services
• Bilingual in Spanish preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to thrive both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

Primary responsibilities:

• Administer cognitive, academic, and behavioral assessments
• Participate in IEP/504 meetings and eligibility determinations
• Design and implement intervention strategies
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to address student needs
• Provide crisis intervention and contribute to safe school environments
• Maintain detailed and confidential documentation
• Promote student well-being and advocate for equitable access to resources
