About the Role
The Company is seeking a VP of Payroll and Benefits (Services and Operations) to lead and scale its payroll services business in the US and UK. This strategic role is pivotal in defining and executing the company's payroll services and operations strategy, with a focus on customer satisfaction, revenue influence, and P&L management. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and scaling the payroll services model, leading implementation and delivery, and driving operational excellence. A key aspect of the role is to partner with cross-functional leaders to ensure exceptional customer outcomes, influence retention and expansion, and build a high-performing, scalable organization. The VP will also be expected to leverage AI, automation, and innovative problem-solving to enhance service delivery and support the company's growth strategy. Applicants for the VP position at the company should have a strong background in US payroll, with at least 5 years of leadership experience in managing payroll services or operations within a B2B SaaS environment. The role requires a proven track record in scaling payroll services, improving implementation quality, and driving customer outcomes. Strong commercial acumen, experience in influencing revenue and P&L, and the ability to work effectively across various functions are essential. The ideal candidate will have an innovative mindset and experience in using AI and automation to enhance service delivery. While deep payroll domain leadership is advantageous, the company is also open to leaders with a broader services background and meaningful payroll experience.
