## Neurophysiology Technician CertifiedApplylocations: EMH Main Hospital Elmhursttime type: Full timeposted on: Posted Todayjob requisition id: R43379**Hourly Pay Range:**$35.16 - $54.50 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.**Position Highlights:*** Position: Neurophysiology Technician Certified* Location: Elmhurst, IL* Full Time/Part Time: Full Time (40 hours/week)* Hours: Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm, weekends only if on-call**What you will do:*** Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of patients served. This includes knowledge of the physical and psychological needs of patients served and the ability to respond appropriately to those needs.* Performs EEG testing, including Routine, Long-term/Continuous, Epilepsy Monitoring Unit, Ambulatory, along with second modality of NCS/EMG, IONM, Autonomics, and/or EPs on patients according to established guidelines.* Maintains a variety of logs and records. In doing so, records activity in log books and Quality Assurance records, delivers requisitions to medical records, and ensures dictated reports are copied and delivered according to established procedures.* Ensures compliance with regulatory agencies such as The Joint Commission, ACNS, ABRET, ASET, and NAEC.
