Business Analyst

Business Analyst HighPoint's professionals focus on helping government agencies and companies implement their most critically strategic initiatives. The role of Business Analyst contributes to HighPoint by developing and implementing a long‑term data reporting and analysis strategy; maintaining a strong focus on managing recurring and ad‑hoc reporting processes from design, data collection, analysis, and reporting; and reporting and analyzing results across all levels of staff and leadership. Knowledge and Skills Requirements Advanced written, verbal, and communication skills Data analytics Data management, statistics, accounting, and computer applications Familiarity with agile project methodology Knowledge and experience with collaboration and project management tools (e.g., Confluence, JIRA) Job Responsibilities Experience in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook. Ability to work within established guidelines and time frames. Ability to work with minimal supervision. Demonstrated ability to work cross‑functionally at all organizational levels. Strong working knowledge with data analytics. Experience creating detailed reports and giving presentations. Strong organizational, communication, and collaborative skills. Excellent writing and public speaking skills. Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills. Ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine solutions. Education and Years of Experience Requirements Bachelor's degree (BS or BA) in a technical or business field, or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred Two (2) years relevant experience Collaboration and Project Management tools (e.g., Confluence, JIRA) experience (preferred).
