Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of women’s health by reviewing medical histories, performing physical examinations, and executing screenings tailored to individual needs.
• Diagnose and treat a variety of women’s health conditions, including reproductive health issues, gynecological infections, menstrual disorders, and symptoms associated with menopause.
• Implement family planning services, educating patients on contraception options, counsel on reproductive health, and prescribe necessary medications.
• Perform routine gynecological examinations such as Pap smears and breast exams to ensure early detection of potential issues.
• Manage prenatal care for expecting mothers, conducting regular check-ups, monitoring fetal development closely, and providing education and support on pregnancy and childbirth topics.
• Collaborate with obstetricians and other healthcare providers to coordinate optimal care plans for pregnant patients.
• Educate patients on sexual and reproductive health topics, emphasizing the importance of STD prevention, fertility awareness, and preconception guidance.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including ultrasounds and laboratory work, to develop comprehensive treatment plans based on results.
• Prescribe medications and ensure appropriate follow-up to monitor treatment success and side effects.
• Document all patient interactions accurately within our electronic health records (EHR) to maintain clear communication across the care team.
• Participate actively in quality improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing patient care and clinic operations.
• Stay abreast of the latest advancements and research in women's health by engaging in continuing education and professional development.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily serve a diverse patient population, ranging from adolescence to senior women, each with unique healthcare requirements. Our clinic is dedicated to understanding and addressing the specific health challenges faced by women, creating a supportive space where they feel empowered to make informed health decisions.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Nursing with a specialization in Women's Health.
• A current and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in Texas.
• Board certification as a Women's Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP).
• Clinical experience in a women’s health, OB/GYN, or primary care setting is essential.
• In-depth understanding of women's health issues, including gynecological health, reproductive health, prenatal care, and menopause.
• Proficiency in performing relevant health screenings and gynecological examinations.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to foster trust and rapport with patients.

Preferred Experience

Candidates with prior experience in an outpatient clinic environment will be highly regarded, particularly those who have navigated complex patient presentations in women’s health. Experience with electronic health record systems and quality improvement processes will also be favored.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 120,000 to 220,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
