JAMF Engineer

Job Description Hybrid workstyle 9 month Contract Responsibilities Administer JAMF and create packages for applications to deploy on systems across the globe Package volume‑licensed applications for deployment and repack non‑PKG installers Manage and keep third‑party applications up to date on the backend Utilize Bash/Python scripting for JAMF bundle package creation and deployment Develop configuration policies, test and document findings, update and effectively communicate procedures Create customized macOS images to be deployed on Mac Pro, iMacs, MacBook Pro and MacBook Air Evaluate security updates and service packs for supported applications and perform necessary QC and certification for installation on all supported Mac clients Deep dive into issues during UAT, Betas from Apple, file and own cases with Apple, JAMF, Adobe, and any other vendor Define, implement, and maintain compliant and secure IT operations for all Mac systems; provide central services to provision and deploy the necessary hardware and software according to user requests Implement IT governance principles to maintain network integrity and ensure information is appropriately handled on Mac systems Develop documentation and training about macOS and Apple hardware environments for the end‑user support team and end users Why the position is open Team recently took on all of the Mac machines in the environment and need to bring on someone with that experience to supplement the Windows team.
