Recruiting Specialist

Summary The Recruiting Specialist is responsible for providing hiring support to two manufacturing facilities in the Savannah area which may include hourly production, engineering, quality, maintenance, procurement, accounting, and other related hourly or salaried roles. In support of the MOBIS recruitment strategy, this role builds effective working relationships and provides consulting with hiring managers to develop a recruitment strategy for tough to fill roles utilizing all available resources. About Mobis North America Electrified Powertrain, LLC MOBIS North America Electrified Powertrain, LLC (MNAe) is a Tier 1 supplier of BSA and PE systems, which are key parts to produce electric vehicles, based on state-of-art manufacturing technology related to battery system assembly. Essential Functions (To perform within this position successfully, the incumbent must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned.) Responsibilities: Track and maintain candidate hiring status within an applicant tracking system Screen, select, and submit candidates to hiring managers throughout the organization Attend video and in-person interviews with hiring managers to evaluate candidate fit for open positions Promote company brand as an employer of choice within the community Consult with hiring managers to understand candidate profile and create recruitment strategy plans based on candidate profile Build relationships and partner with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure an adequate pipeline of skilled candidates Evaluate, recommend, and implement new recruitment tools Plan, coordinate, and represent the company at job fairs and hiring events Utilize a variety of resources and methods to recruit talent for a variety of positions (social media, networking, online databases, internet searches, and job fairs) Partner with approved recruiting agency partners for tough to fill roles or during times of high hiring need Extend offers of employment to candidates within established hiring protocols and conduct necessarily follow up Coordinate new hire processes from job offer to the team member’s first day of orientation including offer letters, drug tests, background checks, and orientation schedules Partner with other HR Department team members to ensure a smooth transition for new hire orientation Assist with temp to hire processes for production staffing needs Recommend and execute hiring process adjustments to increase efficiency and a positive hiring experience for all parties involved The role does not have any supervisory responsibilities, but does partner with Department Heads and Hiring Managers to lead the recruitment and selection process. Other duties and projects as assigned by HR management Basic Qualifications (The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or ability required and preferred for this position.) 2-4 years of full-cycle recruitment experience. 2-4 years of experience using applicant tracking systems. Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution. Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position. Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities: Ability to develop mutually beneficial relationships internally and externally Must be goal-oriented, customer-focused, and results-driven Impeccable interpersonal skills and communication skills Excellent organizational skills Proficiency in spreadsheet software and word-processing applications Ability to work extended hours to ensure recruitment goals are met In-depth knowledge of current legal regulations guiding the recruitment and selection process Ability to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations: PHR or SHRM-CP certification is preferred B.S./B.A. in human resources, business administration, psychology, or a related field is preferred. Automotive manufacturing experience is preferred.
