Key Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a Paraprofessional in a school setting
• Skill in providing individual and small group support to students with diverse learning needs
• Ability to demonstrate patience, empathy, and consistent encouragement
• Understanding of confidentiality and professionalism in an educational environment
• Strong communication skills for collaborating with teachers, staff, and parents

Key Responsibilities:

• Offer direct, daily support and guidance to a male student (age 12-13), assisting him throughout the school day
• Assist with both academic and behavioral goals as outlined by the student’s learning plan
• Help implement accommodations and modifications under the supervision of classroom teachers and special education staff
• Monitor and document progress, reporting observations as needed
• Participate in meetings, trainings, and collaborative activities to develop and deliver effective student support strategies
• Encourage positive social interactions with peers and support the student’s emotional well-being
