Salary Range: $158,690.00 - $245,969.00 Position Summary:We are building a best-in-class Growth & Experience organization across a portfolio of five direct-to-consumer brands: Albany Park, Edloe Finch, X-Chair, Mavix, and Timbuk2.As Director, Consumer Acquisition & Growth, you will own demand generation and customer acquisition across the full consumer journey, from first impression through conversion and into repeat purchase. This role is responsible for setting strategy, managing internal and external partners, and driving efficient, scalable growth across a multi-brand portfolio.This is not a channel management role. You will define how we invest across channels, simplify and strengthen our agency ecosystem, and build a more connected and effective growth engine. If you are energized by building scalable growth systems, enjoy solving complex problems, and bring curiosity for AI and data-driven experimentation, this role is a strong fit.This is a hybrid role requiring onsite work three days per week (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday).Responsibilities and Essential Functions:Demand generation & paid media strategyOwn paid media strategy across all DTC brands, including paid search, paid social, video, audio, programmatic, affiliates, and emerging channelsOptimize channel mix against CAC, ROAS, and LTV targets, balancing prospecting and retargeting across brandsEvaluate and improve the media partner ecosystem to drive stronger performance and more efficient managementManage agency relationships and ensure consistent delivery against performance expectationsIdentify and test new channels to diversify the marketing mix and reduce reliance on any single platformFull-funnel accountabilityDrive demand generation across the full consumer journey, from awareness through acquisition and into retentionPartner closely with eCommerce on traffic quality, landing page performance, and conversionCollaborate with CRM to ensure strong connection between acquisition and lifecycle strategiesOwn growth KPIs including CAC, LTV, ROAS, retention, and contribution margin, and ensure reporting supports decision-makingData, attribution & experimentationLead a structured test-and-learn approach across all channels, with clear hypotheses and measurement plansLeverage attribution, media mix modeling, and incrementality testing to inform budget allocationPartner with Analytics to ensure data accuracy and visibility across brandsUse first-party data and segmentation to improve targeting and efficiencyTeam & agency leadershipLead, coach, and develop a team including performance marketing and social leadership rolesBuild a culture of accountability, curiosity, and continuous improvementEstablish clear agency governance including scope definition, performance expectations, and review cadencesInvest in team development and build leadership capability over timeSocial & influencer integrationOversee integrated social strategy across paid, organic, and influencer channelsEnsure alignment between content, media investment, and brand positioningPartner with Creative to maintain quality and consistency across all marketing channelsQualifications, Skills and Education:Required QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience10+ years of experience in performance marketing, growth, or demand generation, preferably within DTC or eCommerce environmentsDeep expertise in paid media strategy across multiple channels including search, social, video, audio, affiliates, and programmaticProven track record of managing and optimizing agency partnerships, including experience leading RFP processesStrong fluency in attribution models, CAC and LTV economics, and contribution marginExperience leading and developing cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environmentData-driven mindset with the ability to build dashboards and translate insights into actionExperience leveraging AI tools to improve media performance, forecasting, and creative outputPreferred QualificationsMBA or advanced degree preferredExperience in home furnishings, lifestyle, or consumer goods categoriesExperience partnering with CRM or lifecycle marketing teams, with familiarity in platforms such as KlaviyoExperience contributing to media mix modeling or incrementality testing programsTrack record of simplifying or restructuring agency ecosystems in a multi-brand environmentFamiliarity with organic social and influencer or creator strategiesWhy This RoleOwn the full demand generation engine across five high-quality DTC brandsInherit a team with strong existing performers and a clear growth trajectoryPartner closely with a senior eCommerce leader in a tightly integrated commercial modelPeople-first culture with genuine investment in team developmentAI-enabled environment where experimentation and automation are expected, not aspirationalWe are an equal opportunity employer committed to building a diverse and inclusive team.Perks and Benefits:We hope that you’re excited by the possibilities that come along with working at Exemplis!
