Director (RN) Case Management

THE ROLE

Our client is seeking a Director (RN) of Case Management for a full-time permanent, direct-hire position based in Missoula, MT. This is a newly opened senior leadership role with responsibility for directing and overseeing the case management function within a hospital setting. The Director will provide strategic and clinical leadership to ensure optimal patient outcomes, care coordination, and regulatory compliance. This position requires on-site presence and reports in-person to a specific facility location.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide strategic leadership and operational oversight of the Case Management department
• Drive care coordination processes to optimise patient throughput and length of stay
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, accreditation, and payer requirements
• Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to advance quality and patient safety initiatives
• Develop, mentor, and evaluate Case Management staff
• Oversee utilisation review, discharge planning, and transitional care programmes

REQUIREMENTS

Must-Have

• Current (or eligible) Montana RN licence active and in good standing
• Minimum one year of Hospital Case Management Leadership experience
• Bachelor's degree required BSN or related field minimum

Preferred / Nice-to-Have

• Advanced degree strongly preferred MSN, Healthcare Administration, or MBA
• Extensive Hospital Case Management leadership background
