Practice Manager

The Practice Manager (PM) has accountability for all aspects of the location’s business operations. As a team leader in a people‑first organization, the PM guides the team through coaching, mentoring, and performance management. By creating memorable experiences for each patient, the PM is responsible for driving top‑line sales, increasing margin, controlling payroll expenses, and boosting profitability to meet the company’s overall business objectives. The PM works directly with staff and operational partners to ensure professional eye exams and medical services, quality product selection, acceptance of vision insurance plans, and remarkable patient service. Establish clear objectives for staff, communicate expectations with clarity, and set high performance standards. Set the standard for remarkable patient services and experiences utilizing the Acuity Way. Identify and select top talent that matches AEG’s values and recruit for long‑term sustainability. Work closely with the District Manager to achieve and exceed financial plans for the practice. Learn quickly and adapt when facing new problems, solving with creative solutions. Show relentless drive to achieve results and develop others by sharing best practices within the AEG platform. Maintain an open mind and adapt to change as a versatile learner. Ensure daily sales are reviewed, identify gaps, and implement solutions to close them. Protect the company through loss prevention. Partner with Human Resources to ensure employees are committed to handbook guidelines. Requirements 3–5 years of professional experience with leadership capacity. Business degree in Hospitality, Business, or related management field. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Optician certification preferred. Benefits 401(k) with match.
