QA Engineer

Role: QA Engineer Location: Sacramento, CA Experience Level: 5 years Interview Process: 2 WebEx rounds # of Positions: 2 Responsibilities: Create test cases and suites to ensure product specification is being met. Work closely with Firmware, Software and app developers as they implement features to ensure requirements are being fulfilled. Execute manual (and automated tests where necessary) to ensure a high reliability and quality metrics. Create and maintain automation test fixtures and set-ups needed to run automated testing. Work closely with product and QA engineers to create and drive a roadmap for the QA and applications team. Knowledge of mobile device emerging technologies including Smartphone LTE architectures, wireless IoT- BLE/Internet connected devices. Key skills: Experience with UI, android and ios app testing in addition to firmware and software testing. Experience with KIBANA, JIRA, Confluence and Testrail Experience with using postman and URLs Ability to create test cases and test plan. Ability to work well independently and in close collaboration with a remote team. Experience in test automation (python, robot frameworks etc) Ruri Software Technologies LLC
