Position: HCBS (Home & Community Based Services) Assistant Schedule: Monday – Friday 7:30AM-4:00PM Location: Tyler's Place AZ HQ Job Level: Entry Salary: $17.00/HR Position Summary Tyler's Place, a provider of Developmental Disabilities Division (DDD) services, is seeking a reliable and organized HCBS (Home & Community Based Services) Assistant to support our HCBS Director and administrative team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys a variety of responsibilities, works well in a team environment, and is committed to providing excellent support to the families and members we serve, staff and team. Responsibilities Provide administrative support to the HCBS Director. Assist with general office operations and daily administrative tasks. Coordinate and schedule Attendant Care meetings and maintain related documentation. Answer phones, emails, and other communications professionally and promptly. Organize, maintain, and update files, records, and reports. Assist with data entry. Support communication between staff, members, families, and community partners. Attend meetings as needed and prepare meeting materials. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Demonstrates a strong desire to learn, grow professionally, and take on new responsibilities as training and experience expand within the role. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous administrative or office experience preferred. Strong organizational and time management skills. Excellent verbal and written communication abilities. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and basic office technology. Ability to maintain confidentiality, handle sensitive information professionally. Adhere to HIPPA laws. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Positive attitude, adaptability, and willingness to learn new responsibilities as the role evolves. Must possess a genuine passion for supporting individuals with developmental disabilities and their families, along with a commitment to providing compassionate, person-centered service and advocacy. Required Qualifications (training provided in-house): The ability to obtain a State of AZ Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card and pass a nationwide background check.
