Fullstack Software Engineer

Software Engineer IIIA client of Insight Global is seeking a Software Engineer III to join a highly collaborative engineering team responsible for building and supporting critical customer and data services platforms. This is an opportunity to work on high-impact backend systems that serve as the foundation for multiple product teams across the organization. The team functions as an API and middleware organization, developing scalable services that integrate internal systems, customer-facing applications, and third-party platforms. This engineer will play a key role in designing, developing, and supporting backend applications while helping drive modernization efforts across cloud infrastructure and data services. This position is ideal for a developer who enjoys working primarily on backend systems, APIs, cloud technologies, and event-driven architectures rather than front-end development.Location: Greenwood Village, COSchedule: Hybrid (minimum 2 days onsite per week)Contract Length: 6 months with strong potential for extensionWhat You'll DoDesign, develop, and maintain backend APIs and middleware services primarily using Python.Build and enhance integrations between internal systems, customer platforms, and third-party applications.Develop and support cloud-native applications within AWS environments.Work with relational and NoSQL databases to manage and optimize data services.Support event-driven architectures and data processing workflows.Participate in Agile ceremonies including daily standups, sprint planning, refinements, and demos.Collaborate with developers, architects, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable technical solutions.Develop automated tests and contribute to maintaining high-quality code standards.Participate in an on-call rotation supporting team-owned applications and services.Contribute to system design discussions and architectural planning activities.This role will be Hybrid in Greenwood Village, Colorado and is offering a salary of $65-$71/HR based on years of experience.
