About the Role
The Company is seeking a VP of Sales to join their team. The successful candidate will be tasked with owning the company's revenue goals and the entire sales funnel, from lead generation to closing business. This role involves leading, mentoring, and growing a team of high-performing Account Executives, as well as building and scaling a top-tier outbound sales organization. The VP of Sales will be responsible for developing and executing the go-to-market strategy, particularly in the pharmaceutical and life sciences sectors, and must be adept at navigating complex buying committees, procurement processes, and compliance requirements. Collaboration with executive leadership to define and execute the go-to-market strategy is also a key aspect of the position. Applicants for the VP of Sales role at the company should have a minimum of 8 years' SaaS sales experience, with at least 4 years in a management capacity. A strong background in selling SaaS products to pharmaceutical, life sciences, and healthcare organizations is essential, as is a proven track record in building outbound sales programs. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in sales operations, forecasting, funnel analytics, CRM management, and modern sales technologies. Existing relationships within the pharmaceutical or life sciences sectors and experience in transforming a founder-led sales organization into a metrics-driven revenue engine are also required. The role demands a strategic leader who can drive revenue performance and is adept at managing and closing strategic enterprise opportunities.
