Introduction

The role involves assisting the plant ergonomics program by partnering with production, engineering, safety, medical, labor, and plant leadership to identify and reduce ergonomic risks. The position focuses on assessing and improving workstations, analyzing injury and medical trends, supporting new-model launches and process changes, and ensuring compliance with ergonomics standards. The role promotes employee well-being while supporting safety, quality, and operational performance.

• Bachelor’s degree in ergonomics, engineering, industrial engineering, human factors, kinesiology, occupational health, safety, or a related field.
• At least one year of experience in ergonomics, manufacturing or industrial engineering, safety, or a related technical area.
• Experience conducting ergonomic assessments and implementing workplace improvements.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lead cross-functional projects and influence stakeholders.
• Proficiency with Office and data analysis tools.
• Prior work experience in the automotive industry.

• Master’s degree.
• Certified Professional Ergonomist (CPE) credential.
• Automotive manufacturing or launch experience.
• Familiarity with ergonomic simulation tools.
