Junior Associate

A full-service law firm with over 50 years of experience, offering personalized legal solutions across diverse practice areas including trusts & estates, business law, and litigation, with offices in New York, Long Island, and New Jersey. Role: The ideal candidate will have strong legal research and writing skills, sound judgment, excellent attention to detail, and a willingness to learn and take on increasing responsibility. The Associate Attorney will work closely with experienced attorneys and firm staff on a variety of legal matters, including legal research, drafting pleadings and correspondence, preparing for hearings and depositions, communicating with clients, and supporting attorneys throughout the litigation or transactional process. Responsibilities: Conduct legal research and analyze statutes, regulations, case law, and other legal authorities. Draft motions, pleadings, briefs, memoranda, contracts, correspondence, and other legal documents. Assist with case preparation, discovery, depositions, hearings, negotiations, and trials, as applicable. Review and analyze documents, evidence, contracts, and other relevant materials. Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, courts, government agencies, and other parties. Maintain accurate and organized case files and meet applicable deadlines. Assist senior attorneys with strategy, case management, and client matters. Qualifications: Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school. Admission to the bar in [State] or eligibility for admission. Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and communication skills. Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities. Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines. Professional judgment, integrity, and discretion. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
