In this exciting role as a Manufacturing Manager, you will have responsibility for leading the production side of the Cardiac Diagnostic Solutions (CDS) Focus Factory supporting multiple Operating Units. The Brooklyn Center facility supports the design, development, and production of implantable batteries and battery packs used in devices for a variety of Medtronic businesses. In this role you will gain experience with products across Medtronic's portfolio, supporting your development and growth. This role reports to the manufacturing director of battery operations and oversees and directs the work of a team of Production Supervisors.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

• Responsible for the development and implementation of activities in production area(s) to meet production goals, quality, and cost objectives.
• Prioritizes production schedules based on product introduction, equipment efficiency, and materials supply.
• Plans and administers procedures and budgets.
• Makes budgetary recommendations on capital expenditures and direct/indirect labor.
• Selects and develops personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the production function.
• Develops schedules and manpower requirements for assigned areas.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelors degree required
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience

Nice to Have:

• Leadership experience in a manufacturing setting
• Experience using lean tools and mechanisms to improve business and manufacturing processes
• Experience in a high volume high mix environment
• SAP and MES systems
• Able to acquire high level of technical knowledge to problem solve issues
• Can work closely with development partners to successfully launch new products
• Versed in Quality Management Systems in a highly regulated industry

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD): $103,200.00 - $154,800.00 This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP). The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).
